Cutera CoolGlide – Laser Hair Removal
Approved by the FDA for permanent hair reduction, the Cutera CoolGlide hair removal laser works well for all skin types and tones, from the lightest to the darkest. Skin tones are categorized, from Level I (the lightest) to Level VI (the darkest). Unlike most other hair removal lasers on the market, which only work well with the three lightest levels of skin tones, the Cutera CoolGlide produces amazing results for even the darkest of skin tones. We’ve seen great results with patients who have deep sun tans and/or very dark, natural skin tones. The unique design of the hair removal laser, along with its longer wavelength and innovative cooling design, produces safe, effective, permanent hair reduction.

ProWave 770 – Laser Hair Removal
Approved by the FDA for permanent hair reduction, the ProWave 770 laser hair removal system uses a tailored light source and produces approximately 90% reduction in hair. Using a special handpiece, we’re able to treat large areas quickly and safely for most skin types.

Please note: While IPL therapy can be used for hair removal, we’ve experienced much better results from the Cutera CoolGlide and ProWave 770. The performance from these two lasers is far superior, resulting in deeper, more permanent hair removal.

For best results, most areas of the body will require several laser hair removal treatments. Because there are three phases of hair growth (active, regressing, and resting), it’s impossible to completely remove all of the hairs in a single treatment. Laser hair removal treatment disables hairs in the active growth phase by delivering light energy to the hair follicles, safely targeting the hair shafts without damaging pigment in the surface of the skin.
